This article begins on **The Bridge** and is retrieved during a trusted Hugo build.
Hugo publishes bounded, sanitized static HTML while the source topic, replies,
moderation and identity remain here.

## Static does not mean disconnected

DiscussionBridge keeps the generated page free of receiver credentials and live
application state. A later build can refresh the forum-owned article and its
discussion without transferring ownership to Hugo.

## One source of truth

The Bridge remains authoritative for this article and conversation. Hugo owns
the generated presentation. Readers can reply through the embedded discussion
or open this topic directly.

## A portable publishing profile

The same contract supports Hugo locally, in CI, or on a static deployment host.
Only the trusted build process receives the connection credential.
