Simple mode

This page uses discussionCommentsDisplay: "simple".

Astro reads an ordinary public Discourse topic and renders its replies as a bounded, site-native comments list. The source site needs no DiscussionBridge connection credential, and The Bridge does not need the DiscussionBridge receiver plugin for this mode.

A deliberately smaller browser boundary

Readers can scan the conversation in the Astro page. They follow the topic link when they want to reply, sign in, manage notifications, or use the complete Discourse interface.

This companion topic supplies the discussion context for the Astro + Starlight demo. Replies below remain owned and moderated by The Bridge.
